We’ve got a Cirrus working alongside our other kit and it’s been steady. The main reason we keep it is simple: it leaves the field looking even. Those wheels/packer sections do a decent job pressing and smoothing, so the seedbed comes out consistent. You can feel it when you come back later, it didn’t leave рыхло patches everywhere.

Breakdowns? Pretty much none in our case. Seven-ish years in and it’s mostly wear parts. The only real repeat thing for us was the wheels and some bolts, plus the scrapers. In mud they pack up, so don’t expect magic there.

Price wise, yeah, it’s up there. But it replaces an extra run, so depending on your setup it can make sense.

Had the Amazone Cirrus out on about 200 acres of winter crop, mostly barley and wheat. Switched from a competitor’s older drill, this one’s a step up in terms of getting settings dialed in quick-three screws, marked clear, have all the depths matched up in no time. Not really had to touch the wheels, low fuss there. Depth control’s bang on, seed goes in same whether you’re behind the wheels or not. Only thing is, it’s only our first full spring run with it, so hoping that reliability keeps up long term, haven’t seen enough wear yet to say for sure. All the preloading and calibration you can do right outside-big time saver and doesn’t break up your rhythm. Been liking the strong frame too, nothing’s bent or out of line yet.

Put about 700 hectares through the Amazone Cirrus so far. The single-shoot system is solid, just dumps everything right at the right level, and that new distributor head keeps things even, so I didn’t see any skips or heavy overlaps. That track-firming system they've been pushing actually does help with even stands, way better than what I saw on some older drills. I had a bit of a headache at first with the system setup, not super intuitive, but once set up it ran steady. Didn’t have to tinker much apart from basic greasing. Comfort’s decent in field, no rough jolts, wheels seem to handle turns well. Not much to whine about except maybe setup takes longer at the start.

Been running the Cirrus with that Minimum TillDisc a few times this season. First off, the fuel savings caught my eye - easier to pull, smooth going even when it's damp. I like that you don't have to rip up a ton of soil and toss big clods around, makes things less messy. Options for row setups are handy. Only thing is, setting the disc height can be fiddly at first, I needed a few tries to get it right. As for residue, it slices through the green stuff pretty clean. Haven't had any breakdowns so nothing to report on reliability yet, seems solid, but not gonna say it's flawless. Comfort's not really a factor with this kind of kit, but no complaints from me.

Used the Cirrus mostly in the spring, right after spreading fertilizer. Runs fine over prepped soil, I haven’t tried direct seeding into stubble though. I like the working width - covers ground quick, and the packer really firms things up. The only letdown is those plastic parts behind the discs, yeah, same scrapers everyone talks about, they tend to gum up if it’s sticky out. Not the end of the world, but you spend time cleaning instead of driving. Never had any major breakdowns. Wheels did wear a bit on our sandy fields, replaced them twice, so I’d keep spares handy. For convenience, this setup really helps with less passes over the field, less fuel, less time.

Been running the Cirrus for this first season on spring barley and winter crops after we switched from our old red drill to this green one. Gotta say, the thing is pretty solid build wise, not had any bits rattling off or anything. The disc system at the front's different to what I'm used to, just cuts a narrow slot, but actually, when the ground got a bit sticky, still got good seed coverage. Setup's simple enough, three screws for adjusting depth, just count the turns. I don't have to mess with the wheels at the back anymore, which is a plus. It's definitely saving us some time. Still pretty early days, so can't say it's perfect-little bit of a learning curve versus what we ran before and we'll see how it all looks end of season, but it's doing the job so far.

First time out with the Cirrus 9004-2C Grand and it honestly made things smoother than what I’m used to. That twin disc opener and the way it lays seed, even at higher speed, surprised me-emergence was spot on all across the width. The electric-hydro adjustment for coulter pressure and depth is handy, so you can do everything from the cab. That really cuts down on the messing around out in the mud. But I did have to re-read the manual a few times; all the tech packed in can be confusing until you get a feel for the menu. Comfort-wise, it’s not bad. Maneuverability on headlands is decent with the independent wheel suspension. Wish the price was a bit lower for all these gizmos, though.

I’m picky about depth control and this Cirrus with TwinTeC plus coulters does a solid job. Big discs, and you can run decent speed without the openers bouncing all over the place. The electric-hydraulic adjustment for coulter pressure + seeding depth from the ISOBUS terminal is what I’d call real convenience. No getting out to turn handles or mess with clips. When soil changes across the field, I just tweak it and keep rolling.

The airflow/pressure setup with the return flow is also smarter than it sounds. When it shuts rows off, it keeps the air pressure stable so you don’t start blowing seed out of the furrow. And when you drop it back in, there’s seed sitting there ready, not a bunch of empty runs.

Only mixed feeling: if you hate terminals and menus, you’ll need a day to get friendly with it. After that it’s fine.

Been running the Amazone Cirrus disc drill here for a while, mainly because it fits in with our kit and horsepower better than the all-in-one passes. I like how quick it drills, cuts through our ground well. The seedbed after the discs comes out decent, haven't had any big issues even with sticky ground. Loading's pretty simple with our Massey so that's a non-issue. Only thing is, with all the tech - joystick, touchscreen, all the sensors - it's a lot to set up if you're not used to monitors. Takes a minute to get comfortable. Good bit of kit if you want to move quick and keep an eye on things from the cab.

Been running the Cirrus-СС this season, mostly for spring wheat. One thing I noticed right away: handling multiple operations in one pass is actually handy. Saved me loads of time, less fieldwork, and I didn’t feel so drained. The twin disc setup’s no joke, you can feel the difference in how even the seed hits the ground. Controls are alright, takes a bit to get used to, but nothing crazy. Only thing I wasn't thrilled with is you need to switch between Single and Double-Shot setups depending on what you wanna do - I messed up the settings once and it kinda threw off my run. But nothing too dramatic. Maintenance seems normal so far, no random issues yet. Wouldn’t say it’s cheap, but that’s usual for this kind of kit.
